What is Select?
Select is the web-based application that provides evidence-driven logic to help you find qualified sites for your clinical trials. With custom workflows, Select helps you automate processes and refine the criteria required to more accurately identify, evaluate, and engage sites.

Predefined tasks drive the work
You'll receive email notifications and you'll see tasks on your home page, as well as timeline that shows what is finished and what requires attention. Your organization can also assign roles to various team members that help define and enforce what they can see and do.
The home page provides an at-a-glance view so all team members can see project progress and their required tasks.
Intelligent, centralized site recommendations
Select can leverage your organization’s site list, along with curated data sources to help you create and manage a robust target site profile for evidence-based site selection. Our site recommendation engine helps you identify sites that have a proven track record of meeting enrollment dates and delivering quality subjects in your target population. Protocol matching technology also helps identify sites that meet your study eligibility parameters.
Select helps your entire study team collaborate online to define selection criteria, then evaluate candidate sites, select, and approve them. This means you no longer have to create and maintain spreadsheets to manage and track site selection; the entire team sees the progress and results in real-time.
Using Oracle Health Sciences Select LITE, sites can collaborate with you to view status and return documents (they only see information about their site), or you can complete tasks in Select on their behalf.
Collaboration with business partners
Select includes a business partner collaboration feature that allows an account to be configured for sponsor oversight. If you want to collaborate with your business partners and have oversight over collaborator accounts, you can request collaborator accounts for your business partners.
Sponsor/oversight users with the appropriate “Business partner collaborator” permission have full access to a collaborator's account including all studies and data sources. Sponsor users also carry permissions granted them within their sponsor account to the partner's account. For example:
- When a sponsor user with site selection permission accesses a collaborator account, that user will be able to nominate sites within the collaborator’s account
- When a sponsor user who does not have short list permission accesses a collaborator account, that user will not have the ability to short list sites in the collaborator’s account
- When a sponsor user who has CDA approval permission accesses a collaborator account, that user will be able to negotiate and send a fully executed CDA to sites within the collaborator’s account
Sponsor users who have the appropriate permissions to view Oracle Health Sciences Analyze reports for Select will also have the ability to access the Analyze reports for the partner account.
Account configuration to enable an account as a business partner sponsor will be completed by an Oracle administrator. Please contact your Oracle Project Manager to discuss scheduling and configuration requirements.
